We seek faculty and staff candidates who demonstrate an understanding of classical pedagogy, a love for learning, and a calling to serve Christ at a classical Christian school.

Kindergarten Teacher 

Mars Hill Academy seeks a qualified full-time Kindergarten teacher for the fall of 2021.  Applicants should possess the “four loves”: A love for Christ, a love for students, a love for your subject, and a love of classical education. The ideal kindergarten teacher is one whose teaching is exemplified by a biblical world and life view, and who has experience developing the kindergarten classroom into a world of wonder. The applicant must love mentoring and discipleship. A Bachelor’s degree is a minimum requirement.

 

Part-time Spanish Teacher

Mars Hill Academy seeks a qualified part-time Spanish teacher, beginning fall 2021, to teach high school Spanish. Applicants should possess at least a bachelor’s degree in the Spanish language or a related field, and display the “four loves”: A love for Christ, a love for students, a love for your subject, and a love of classical education. The ideal candidate is one whose teaching is exemplified by classical pedagogy—Socratic teaching, and integration of subjects within a biblical world and life view. The applicant must possess a love for mentoring and discipleship.   

Substitute Teachers

Substitute teachers are needed for both Grammar School and Rhetoric School. Qualified candidates must be Christian and dedicated to the classical Christian model of education. To apply, please complete the Substitute Teacher Application below.
