Dr. Jason Harris

Faithfully serving God, both in his church and community, has been one of the most important goals in Jason Harris’ life. Degrees from both the University of Maryland and Texas A&M University led to a career as a research and development engineer with Johnson and Johnson, where he designs surgical devices and instruments that improve outcomes for patients. Dr. Harris and his wife Laurie have twin daughters that have attended MHA since kindergarten and recently graduated.

His appreciation for the classical, Christian education that MHA provides has steadily increased over the years, building a desire to personally help grow and sustain the mission and vision of the school. He has served as a volleyball coach for the school for many years and joined the board as an elected member in July 2021. The Harrises are members of Providence Bible Fellowship in West Chester. Apart from their time in the gym playing, coaching, and watching volleyball, they can often be found working on the endless renovation projects around their home.
