MASON, OH – The Board of Directors of Mars Hill Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of James M. Albritton, Ph.D., as the school's new Headmaster.

Dr. Albritton holds a B.A. in Political Science from Vanderbilt University, an M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in History from the University of Alabama. Dr. Albritton served as Assistant Headmaster at Trinity Presbyterian School in Montgomery, Alabama, and most recently served as Associate Professor of History at Huntingdon College, also in Montgomery.

"We are delighted to have Dr. Albritton join our growing school," said Chris Hall, president of Mars Hill's Board of Directors. "He brings a wonderful combination of leadership, integrity and humility. As an educator, his experience in the classical method is essential for Mars Hill, Cincinnati's only K-12 classical and Christian school. We welcome his wisdom and decorum as he leads the faculty and students of MHA in our pursuit of truth, beauty, and goodness."

Dr. Albritton's educational background and experience demonstrate his passion for training and educating young people.

"I am excited about the opportunity to serve as Headmaster of Mars Hill Academy, a school dedicated to the classical method of education," said Dr. Albritton. "The school family takes such joy in glorifying God in every aspect of the educational experience, and I am eager to be a part of building His kingdom and preparing our children to do the same."

Dr. Albritton now lives in Loveland with his wife, Carey, and two children, who will attend Mars Hill Academy this fall.
