Mars Hill Academy Honors Grandparents

Mason, OH - Grandparents are a vital part of the Mars Hill Academy community -- from serving as lunchroom volunteers and reading group helpers to visiting classrooms and attending sporting events.

To say thank you, MHA hosted more than 250 grandparents recently at their Grandparents Day event. Grandparents enjoyed classroom visits, school-wide choral performances, and poetry recitations. While many grandparents are local residents, others traveled from as far away as Texas and Florida to participate in the celebration.

"Within the walls of this unique school I have found amazing, developing minds who are guided by Christ and have respect and love for others - a true family. They inspire me and fill me with hope," said grandmother Pat Ryczko, who is affectionately referred to as Grams by students.

Grandparents bless the school by strengthening the connection between generations. By interacting with students and teachers, they are meaningful contributors to life at Mars Hill.

Mars Hill Academy is Cincinnati's only private, independent K-12 classical Christian school.
