Service is integral to our Christian worldview and a vital part of daily life at Mars Hill Academy.
On a typical day at MHA, you might see young men moving tables or setting up chairs, and young women escorting younger students to the carpool line. During our annual school work days, you’ll find Mars Hill fathers pruning bushes, mothers pulling weeds, and students cleaning windows. Parent and grandparent classroom volunteers tutor students, assist teachers, and help during lunchtime. Our service to one another is an intentional part of our ministry at Mars Hill.
Likewise, Mars Hill Academy seeks to serve in our community, remaining mindful of our mission to assist parents and to complement the work of the Church. Throughout the school year, we provide opportunities for MHA parents and students to support a variety of local non-profit organizations such as the Mason Food Pantry, Interfaith Hospitality Network, and Missions in Motion. We've sponsored food drives and mitten and shoe collections, sung in local nursing homes, and written letters to missionaries.
Our focus on service is meant to glorify God, and is done in response to His command to esteem others better than ourselves.
If you represent a non-profit organization and would like to partner with Mars Hill Academy, please contact our Advancement Director, Mr. Rick Santa, at 513-770-3223 or email@example.com.
