Hannah S. Min Memorial Scholarship

Description: Hannah Min was a compassionate young woman, who had a precocious mind and excelled at school. She had a tender heart for those who were hurting or were ostracized. This scholarship has been established to assist Mars Hill Academy students Hannah would have desired to support and help.
Requirements: Any enrolled student at Mars Hill Academy (K-12) in good standing who meets one of the following criteria:
- Has a mental illness or disorder diagnosed by a licensed psychiatrist, psychologist, or a physician;
- Has a physical illness diagnosed by a licensed physician;
- Has a disability diagnosed by a licensed physician or eligible licensed expert; or
- Has socioeconomic challenges including sustained economic hardship.
Eligibility of criteria set forth is on an honors system for application purposes, but documentation to prove eligibility must be provided by the applicants if requested by the Scholarship Committee.
Number of Awards: 1 annually
Award Amount: $2,000
The identity of all applicants, application information, and awardee's identity will be held strictly confidential by the Board, Scholarship Committee, and the Min family and cannot be disclosed to any unrelated parties.
