Expanding our school building isn’t just about adding space — it’s about expanding our ability to shape hearts and minds for Christ. These new additions will help us deepen our commitment to cultivating wisdom, virtue, and a love for learning.
The Plan
- Grammar Wing Expansion: Nine new classrooms will unite Grammar students in one wing and open classrooms for grades 7-12. A dedicated PK-K play area will enhance early childhood development and outdoor learning.
- Athletic Locker Rooms: Currently, students use restrooms and classrooms as makeshift locker rooms. Dedicated space will provide privacy, storage for equipment and space, an improved experience for athletes and students, and flexibility with scheduling practices before and after school.
- Parking Improvements: Expanded parking will reduce traffic congestion, improve safety, and support campus events and future growth.
- Endowment: Establishing a $3 million endowment will provide long-term financial stability, reducing the need for tuition increases while supporting key initiatives like scholarships and tuition assistance, faculty development, program enhancements, and campus upkeep.
Why It Matters
- Accommodate Growing Enrollment: The expanded facilities will ensure we can continue to provide a nurturing, Christ-centered environment as more families seek a classical, Christian education for their children.
- Strengthen School Community: The new spaces will allow more frequent and meaningful gatherings, enabling families to connect and celebrate achievements, strengthening the bonds of our Christ-centered community.
- Enhance Learning Environments: New classrooms and dedicated spaces will offer students more room to deeply explore academic subjects and develop their talents in music, theater, and visual arts.
- Long-Term Sustainability: These expansions position us for future growth, ensuring we continue to fulfill our mission of equipping students to grow spiritually, academically, and personally as virtuous Christian leaders. To steward our financial resources and God’s creation, the new classroom addition includes a high-efficiency geothermal system. With available rebates, this investment will be cost neutral in approximately one year. By harnessing the earth’s steady underground temperature, geothermal heating and cooling systems offer up to 40% greater efficiency, reduced noise, lower maintenance, and less reliance on natural gas. Every dollar saved in annual energy costs is a dollar reinvested in our students, faculty, and mission.
