Dr. Robert S. Keyes leads Mars Hill Academy’s Science Olympiad Team, bringing extensive scientific expertise, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to Christian worldview education to his work with students.
Dr. Keyes serves as director of The Christ Hospital Health and Aging Center. He earned his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, doctorate in Biochemistry, and medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. He is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics and has served as Principal Investigator for several clinical trials evaluating new treatments for Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Keyes also serves as Medical Director for Crossbridge Hospice.
Beyond his work in medicine and science, Dr. Keyes has a passion for teaching and discipleship. He teaches apologetics and worldview at Village Church of Mariemont and Kenwood Baptist Church, serves as Troopmaster for Trail Life Troop OH-1199, and is Mariemont’s Town Crier.
A member of the Mars Hill community as a parent, Dr. Keyes has two children enrolled at MHA. He is grateful for the opportunity to encourage students in the study of science while helping them see the wonder, order, and creativity of God’s creation.
