Jen Powers has a passion for loving and caring for the entire family unit and is delighted to cultivate wonder and awe in the hearts and minds of Mars Hill's youngest children in addition to serving and encouraging their parents.
With an education background, Jen taught Kindergarten, first, and second grade in local private and public schools and has also taught specialized classes for high school students in need. Jen also serves as the Director of Protocol at MHA and enjoys working with Rhetoric students as they endeavor to be "socially graceful and spiritually gracious" in all social situations. Jen also oversees the non-profit ministry Tried & True Parenting, where she and her team support caregivers from all backgrounds in every stage of parenting.
Jen and her family attend Northstar Church in Loveland and have been a part of the MHA community for nine years. Jen looks forward to deepening the partnership between parents and teachers as we grow children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and encourage them to pursue truth, beauty, and goodness in all areas of their lives.
