Mrs. Kayla Pollock teaches Logic and Rhetoric math, and is passionate about showcasing God's truth, goodness, and beauty through His creation and mathematics. She holds degrees in both math and education from Butler University, where she played softball, and later earned a master's degree from the American College of Education. Mrs. Pollock has felt a call to teach math since before fifth grade and has come to deeply appreciate and champion the Classical Christian model of education.
Her enthusiasm for mathematics is infectious, as she strives to show her students how math reflects God's sovereignty and His power in creating and sustaining all things. She helps her students see how mathematics enables us to "think His thoughts after Him," revealing the depth of God's faithfulness and wisdom.
Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Pollock enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Tyler, are parents to four children and active members of North Cincinnati Community Church.
