Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Lindsay Atkinson knew from an early age she wanted to teach and appreciates the many wonderful classroom and Sunday School teachers who helped foster her love of learning and her love for the Lord. She pursued that passion, earning her B.S. in Elementary Education from Taylor University and her Master’s in Elementary Education from Ball State University. Lindsay taught for six years before staying home to raise her two sons, who both attend MHA. She has enjoyed volunteering in her sons’ schools, substitute teaching, and teaching children's Sunday School with her husband, Chris. The Atkinsons, who have a West Highland White Terrier named Poppy, love to travel and have dreams of visiting as many of the national parks as they can. In her free time Lindsay enjoys spending time with her family, baking, reading, listening to podcasts, playing board games, and cheering on her boys in their many athletic endeavors.
