The best way to understand a Mars Hill Academy classical, Christian education is to see it for yourself! Prospective parents should schedule a personal tour or attend an MHA Open House and meet with the Admissions Director before submitting an application. School tour dates are available October-May, and we host two Open Houses each year. Parent Reading Resources
To provide a clear explanation of the foundations of our school, prospective parents are encouraged to read these Mars Hill Academy documents before submitting an application. Use the links below to read these materials online. Hard copies are available in the school office and will be furnished upon receipt of appplication.

Parent Meeting
To ensure a common understanding of the Mars Hill Academy mission, policies and school culture, all prospective parents meet with the MHA Headmaster. All parents must also read and sign the MHA Parent/Guardian Agreement upon enrollment of their children.

Student Placement Testing
We desire for incoming students of any age to thrive at Mars Hill Academy. All prospective students are tested to determine the grade level and classroom in which they will be most successful. Upon receipt of application, parents will be contacted regarding their parent meeting and student's testing date and time. Test results will then be discussed with parents and the Grammar School Principal or Headmaster as appropriate.

Applications will be accepted for Priority Enrollment from October 1 through February 1. Admission decisions will be made and parents notified by mid-February. Applications received between February 2 and April 1 will then be processed, with final admission decisions made and communicated to parents by mid-April. Applications received April 2 and after will be accepted on a case-by-case basis, space permitting.

A non-refundable application fee of $200 per student ($500 family maximum) is required with the enrollment application. This application fee includes incoming assessment. This fee can be paid electronically below, or by cash or check made out to Mars Hill Academy and turned in to the school office at:
