In 1999, MHA adopted the Highlanders as our school
1 9 9 9 mascot. This year also marked the beginning of MHA’s

athletic journey with the introduction of boys' basketball!
2 0 0 4 Fall 2004 brought a new energy to MHA with the addition

of girls' volleyball.
2 0 0 9 In Fall 2009, Mars Hill added jump rope to our athletic

lineup.
2 0 1 1 Spring 2011 saw the launch of our track & field program.
And, during the 2011-2012 school year, MHA’s cross

country team hit the trails.
2 0 1 2 Fall 2012 brought the excitement of boys' soccer to MHA.

2 0 1 5 The 2015-16 school year was a game-changer with the

opening of the MHA gym.
2 0 2 3 The training team began in Spring 2023 to help athletes

enhance their fitness and reach new personal goals.
2 0 2 4 Spring 2024 was a landmark season with the introduction

of boys' volleyball.
2 0 2 5 This past school year welcomed the new mascot, Hector

the Highlander, to the MHA Family.
