Ages: Entering grades 2-6
Come to SEW FUN! camp and learn how to use a needle
and thread to make exciting projects. This camp is
perfect for beginners as well as experienced sewers. We
will learn how to sew a running stitch and a whipstitch
and how to sew on a button. We will put together a
sewing kit and make a needle book and pin cushion.
We’ll also try projects like small pillows, “stuffies,” felt
wallets, stuffed animals, and book markers. Each project
will be unique, because students choose the fabrics,
buttons, and design. Previous Sew Fun campers are
welcome to make our projects or try new projects.
