Saturday, June 14

                           9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

                     Ages: High School and Adults

The books of Proverbs, Job, and Ecclesiastes play a

crucial role in Christian life and thought, but one that
has been difficult to define. They contain divine wisdom
that is both accessible to the young child yet elusive to
the philosopher and theologian. King Solomon himself
wrestled with the nature and value of the “riddles” and
“enigmas” spoken by the wise. This class explores
Biblical wisdom literature, its themes, its purpose, and
its role in the life of faith. In the process we will discover
how the God-inspired sages used riddles, enigmas, and
intellectual quandaries to lead the reader to anticipate
the fullness of wisdom in Jesus Christ.
