First Things First
A Study of Genesis 1-11

The Bible opens with the story of creation not to keep its
historical accounts in chronological order but to present
them in theological order. Without the foundational
truths of Genesis 1-11 the Bible’s other claims do not
stand. First Things First explores both the message and
the medium of the Bible’s primeval history,
demonstrating why it is important for the believer to
understand both what these chapters teach us and how
they teach it. Along the way we will consider
controversial issues tied to the creation story and
strategies for interacting with competing claims.
