Building for the Future
Mars Hill Academy’s campus was originally designed with a vision for growth,
including future classroom expansions and a fine arts center. That forward-
thinking plan continues to guide us.

This year, we conducted a feasibility study with feedback from nearly 200
households—including families, faculty, and supporters. Their feedback is
helping the board and administration develop and execute a plan for
campus expansion and long-term financial stability.

Investing in Faculty and Staff
At Mars Hill Academy, we recognize that our faculty and staff are our
greatest assets. Investing in their growth is crucial to our continued success
and the fulfillment of our mission.
Goal: Attract and retain top talent by prioritizing competitive
compensation, benefits, and professional development to maintain a
high standard of excellence in our classrooms and across our campus,
ensuring that our students continue to receive a top quality, classical,
Christian education.
Strategy: Allocate additional funds to ensure top quality faculty and
staff.
2024–2025 Update: Hired additional Grammar School Science Teacher
and Upper School Humanities and Theology Teacher for 2025–2026 to
support growth.

Our commitment to fostering a Christ-honoring culture and community
remains unwavering.
Goal: By deepening our focus on parent education, enhancing our
school's culture, and strengthening ties with local churches, we aim to
create a school environment where students, families, and staff feel
deeply connected, committed, and valued.
Strategy: Implement key initiatives that strengthen our community
bonds and reinforce our Christ-centered mission:
2024–2025 Update:
Celebrated our 25th anniversary with Highlander Heritage events,
including the debut of Hector the Highlander, to build school spirit
and community.
Expanded parent education with a special “Technology and Media:
Navigating the Digital Landscape.
By investing in our faculty, staff, and facilities, Mars Hill Academy is poised
to grow and thrive, ensuring a robust future for our students and
community. This strategic plan outlines our road map to achieve these
ambitious goals, fostering an environment where excellence and education
flourish within our classical, Christian framework.
