Evan Sheldon, Pig Pen
Evan is a ninth grader at Mars Hill and has
appeared in numerous productions, most
recently as the deceased in Arsenic and Old Lace.
His favorite roles have been Ben Gunn in
Treasure Island, Rat in The Wind in the Willows,
and his parts in Tales From China. His favorite
song from the show is “My New Philosophy.” For
Evan, happiness is dancing or reading in his free
time. He wishes to thank Mr. McKenna for directing the musical.

Lydia Ware, Peppermint Patty
Lydia is a seventh grader at Mars Hill. You may
have seen her in Tales from China as the narrator
and in The Wind in the Willows as Weasel. Her
favorite songs in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown
are “Peter Rabbit” and “Book Report.” Lydia has
learned that “the character Charlie Brown
somewhat resembles our own struggles and daily
life, so what he learns throughout the show can
also apply to our lives.” In her free time, Lydia enjoys reading and
writing original stories. She thanks her mom who supports her in all
her endeavors.
