Camdon Hutchinson, Linus Van Pelt
Eighth-grader Camdon’s favorite roles on stage
have been as Badger in The Wind in the Willows
and as Ralph Herdman in Inspiring Arts’ Best
Christmas Pageant Ever. His favorite piece in You’re
a Good Man, Charlie Brown is “Little Known Facts”
because of its comedic genius. When he isn’t on
stage, Camdon enjoys playing with his dogs,
singing his heart out, and learning something new on his own.
Kaiya Knodel, Sally Brown
Sophomore Kaiya has enjoyed participating in
shows at MHA since fourth grade. Her favorite
roles have been Officer O’Hara in Arsenic and Old
Lace, the Fisherman’s Wife in Tales from China,
and Humbug in The Phantom Tollbooth. “This story
is quite sweet and reminds us that everyone is
made in the image of God and we should love
them as such,” she said of You’re a Good Man,
Charlie Brown. In addition to singing and acting, Kaiya enjoys hanging
out in the halls of MHA, serving on leadership teams, creating art, and
spending time with family and friends.
Elijah Mullucey, Charlie Brown
You may have seen senior Elijah on stage as Rev.
Harper in Arsenic and Old Lace, Theseus in A
Midsummer Night’s Dream, or a pirate in The
Pirates of Penzance. Reflecting on this show, he
says, “Charlie Brown is a very truthful and
honorable character. For example, in the opening
he doesn’t know why everyone calls him good
since he thinks it’s just what you do. In ‘Little
Known Facts’ he refuses to trick Linus since it’s wrong. In the song
‘Doctor is In,’ he ignores Lucy’s hurtful comments and thanks her for
her help.” Elijah's other hobbies include archery and swimming.
