granted. We should cherish the times and moments
we are living right now by loving our neighbors and
by glorifying God and enjoying Him forever!”
Offstage, Annie enjoys drawing, reading, writing, and
building with Legos. “I would like to thank Mr.
McKenna for being an amazing director, Mrs. Frank
for being a wonderful costume designer, and Mrs.
Hutchinson for being an inspiring producer.”
Ellery Powers, Mrs. Myrtle Webb
Ninth-grader Ellery Powers brings youthful vigor to
the role of Mrs. Myrtle Webb. Highlights from her
MHA drama career include You’re A Good Man, Charlie
Brown, The Wind in the Willows, Tales from China, and
Treasure Island. Ellery’s favorite scene is when Emily
realizes the message of Our Town: every moment in
life matters, regardless of what you're doing — and
far too many people realize that too late. Embracing
the challenges of her largest role yet, Ellery
appreciates her growth from stepping out of her
comfort zone. Offstage, Ellery can be found managing her small business,
Loop and Knot. She thanks “Mr. McKenna and Miss Patrick for their acting
coaching and advice, which has helped me grow as a performer.”
Christopher Sheldon, Constable Warren, Joe Stoddard
No stranger to the stage, sophomore Christopher
Sheldon’s repertoire includes a broad variety of
shows, most recently performing in You’re a Good
Man Charlie Brown, The Wind in the Willows, and
Horizons of Gold with Inspiring Arts. During this show,
he has learned, “sometimes stopping to smell the
roses is a good thing.” Christopher enjoys playing
video games, sleeping, and reading. “I want to thank
my mom for staying late for practices and all the
people who helped from behind the scenes.”
