Katy Cox, Woman Among the Dead, Wedding Guest, Choir

Ninth-grader Katy Cox is new to MHA theater but
enjoyed an ensemble part in The Music Man. Her
favorite scene in Our Town is when Mr. Webb yells,
“Where's my girl? Where's my birthday girl?" During this
show, she has learned how much she enjoys acting.
When she isn’t performing, you can find her playing
soccer or drawing. Katy would like to thank Ellery
Powers for encouraging her to audition and Mr.
                           McKenna for directing.

         Zeke Crocker, Mr. Charles Webb

No stranger to the stage, freshman Zeke Crocker’s
favorite roles have included Snoopy in You're a Good
Man, Charlie Brown, Chief Weasel in The Wind and the
Willows, various roles in Tales from China, and Ben
Gunn in Treasure Island. In Our Town, Zeke enjoys the
conversation at breakfast between George and Mr.
Webb before the wedding. “Most of my characters
have been quite eccentric, so this show taught me
how to act like a normal human being.” When he is off stage, you can find
Zeke composing music for amateur video games and short films.

         Lydia Cunningham, Emily Webb

You may have seen senior Lydia Cunningham on stage
as Aunt Martha in Arsenic and Old Lace, Lucy in You're a
Good Man, Charlie Brown, or a fairy in A Midsummer
Night’s Dream. Reflecting on this show, her favorite
scene is at the soda fountain shop when Emily and
George realize they like each other. In addition to
acting, Lydia enjoys visiting gardens. She would like to
“thank my parents and grandparents who watched me
(literally) grow through each show and supported me
                           on and off stage.”
