Ninth-grader Lydia Ware’s (Mrs. Rose) favorite past roles include
Rebecca Gibbs in Our Town and Peppermint Patty in You’re a Good
Man, Charlie Brown. Her favorite song from Hello, Dolly! is the upbeat
and joyful “Put on Your Sunday Clothes.” Lydia has discovered that
drama is a wonderful way to build friendships and community
beyond her usual circles. When she’s not on stage, you can find her
crocheting or reading. Lydia thanks her mom for always cheering
her on and for playing the piano to help her master the tricky
parts of the songs.
William P. Wheeler (Judge) is a sophomore who was last seen on
the MHA stage as Simon Stimson in Our Town. His favorite moment
in Hello, Dolly! is the song “It Takes a Woman.” Through this
production, he has learned how to sing and has enjoyed growing as
a performer. Offstage, you can find him working at a dry cleaners.
William would like to thank his parents, his brother Jack, and his
friends Zeke, Christian, and Jocelyn for their support.
