Seventh-grader Luke Perin (Ensemble) is making his theatrical
debut, and he has discovered a love for acting and being part of a
production. His favorite song in the show is “Put on Your Sunday
Clothes.” When he’s not on stage, you can find him building with
LEGOs, doing homework, or playing soccer with his dad. Luke
would like to thank his mom and dad for supporting his
participation in the musical.
Ellery Powers (Ermengarde), a sophomore, recently played Mrs.
Webb in Our Town and has also performed in You’re a Good Man,
Charlie Brown, The Wind in the Willows, Tales from China, Treasure Island,
and The Phantom Tollbooth. Her favorite song from Hello, Dolly! is
“Put on Your Sunday Clothes,” and her favorite scene is when
Ermengarde pleads with her uncle: “I’m not too young! I’m
seventeen! And in another year... I’ll be an old maid!” This year
Ellery has learned to step far out of her comfort zone and has
grown as an actress. When she’s not performing, you can find her managing her small
business, Loop and Knot. She would like to thank Miss Patrick for directing, as well as
all the people who worked behind the scenes to bring this production to life.
Ninth-grader Drew Pullins (Ensemble, Cook) is making his
theatrical debut in Hello, Dolly! Throughout this experience, he has
enjoyed the challenge of memorizing songs and has discovered just
how fun being part of a production can be. His favorite song from
the show is “It Takes a Woman.” When he’s not on stage, you can
usually find him reading or indulging in his favorite pastime—
eating candy. Drew would like to thank the entire production team
for their support and guidance throughout the show.
