Cast

Matthew Schatz (Ensemble, Waiter) is an eighth grader whose past
performances include Tales from China (Guard), The Wind in the
Willows (Weasel), Wizard of Oz (Lion), and Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm.
His favorite number in Hello, Dolly! is “Put on Your Sunday
Clothes.” Through this production, he has deepened his
understanding of musicals and drama. Outside of theater, Matthew
enjoys playing golf, basketball, and soccer, reading, and spending
time with family and friends. Matthew thanks his family for their
support, as well as Miss Patrick and the other leaders for helping him grow as both an
   actor and a person.

Christian Shehane (Cornelius Hackle) is a sophomore, and
although this is his first performance, he’s already enjoying his time
on stage and growing in his appreciation for the effort that goes
into bringing a stage production to life. His favorite Hello, Dolly!
song is “It Takes a Woman.” When he’s not performing, Christian
can usually be found trying to annoy his friends and family. He’d
like to thank Miss Patrick for introducing him to the world of
   theater!

Junior Christopher Sheldon (Paper Hanger, Court Clerk) has
previously appeared as Constable Warren and Joe Stoddard in Our
Town and as Shermy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. One of his
favorite moments in the show is the iconic scene at Harmonia
Gardens, along with the lively and energetic song “Call on Dolly,”
which is always fun to sing. From this show, Christopher has
learned that love isn’t something to be forced—it should come
naturally through genuine interactions. His hobbies include drawing
and playing video games. He thanks his mom for encouraging him to be more
confident and for making it possible for him to be in this show. He also extends his
gratitude to everyone who contributed—whether in directing, props, costumes, music,
or behind-the-scenes work—to bring this production to life.
