Cast

Rebecca Minick (Ensemble), an eighth grader, previously
performed in Tales from China (Village Girl), The Wind in the Willows
(Diver), and Wizard of Oz (Peony). Her favorite moment in Hello,
Dolly! is the lively and classic title number. Throughout this
production, she has pushed her singing abilities further than ever,
hitting notes she never thought possible. When she’s not
performing, you can usually find Rebecca at another practice—most
likely for a sport. She is incredibly grateful to everyone who
dedicated countless hours to making this show a reality.

Hugh Patrick (Stanley/Barnaby Tucker understudy), a ninth
grader, is making his stage debut—though he has been involved in
theater for many years supporting his sisters’ theatrical endeavors
and helping behind the scenes. His favorite moments in Hello, Dolly!
are the Hat Shop scene and “Dancing.” This show has boosted
Hugh’s confidence in singing and acting. When he’s not performing,
he enjoys reading a book, listening to music, and spending time with
his family. Hugh would like to thank God and his parents for giving
him this opportunity, as well as the entire production team and everyone who made the
   show possible.

Eighth-grader Annie Pawlak (Ensemble) is no stranger to the
MHA stage. Some of her favorite past roles include various
characters in Tales from China, a ferret in The Wind in the Willows,
and a baseball player in Our Town. Her favorite song from Hello,
Dolly! is the lively and exciting “Put on Your Sunday Clothes.”
Throughout this production, Annie has learned that singing can
be a challenge, but she has also gained patience with herself and a
deeper appreciation for how every role—big or small—
contributes to the show. When she’s not on stage, you can find her drawing, reading,
building LEGO sets, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with friends. She would
like to thank Miss Patrick for directing the play and her parents for always driving her
   everywhere.
