Mars Hill Academy is excited to unveil our new Highlander mascot, and we need your help to give him a name that embodies the spirit, strength, and heritage of our school! Whether you're inspired by the rugged Scottish Highlands or our school's rich traditions, now's your chance to leave your mark. Put on your thinking cap (or tartan Tam o'Shanter!) and submit your most creative, bold, and fitting name. The winning name will become a lasting part of Mars Hill's legacy—and the lucky winner will be handsomely rewarded! Let the naming begin!

Contest Rules
Eligibility:
- Open to all Mars Hill Academy students, parents, alumni, and staff.
- Each participant may submit only one name.
Selection Process:
- All submissions will be vetted by the Mascot Task Force during the week of September 9.
- The committee will select top names based on creativity, relevance, and alignment with Mars Hill Academy’s values.
- MHA Community will vote to select the mascot name, which will be announced during Homecoming Weekend!
Winner Announcement
- The winner will be announced during the Homecoming festivities.
- The winner will receive a year-long family athletic pass for entry into all MHA home games and $100 to spend in brand new Spirit Wear!
Additional Rules
- All submissions must adhere to Mars Hill Academy’s values and standards.
- The selection committee reserves the right to disqualify any submissions.
- By participating, entrants agree to allow Mars Hill Academy to use their proposed names for promotional purposes without additional credit.
