New Look for Fall Celebrations

This year, we're celebrating Mars Hill's legacy a little differently!

Our fall Homecoming Weekend and fundraising Legacy Gala are happening as separate events—each designed to honor and unite our community in a unique way.

  • Homecoming Weekend will take place September 26-27 on campus, featuring athletic events and school spirit traditions for the entire family. It’s the perfect opportunity for children, parents alumni, and grandparents to celebrate together.
  • Then, on Saturday, October 4, we’ll gather off campus for our formal 30th Anniversary Legacy Gala—an elegant, adults-only evening to celebrate all that God has done in and through Mars Hill Academy over the past three decades. Please note: Childcare is not provided for the gala.

We hope you’ll join us for both of these special events!

Gala Event Highlights

  • Complimentary valet parking (gratuity included)
  • Elegant cocktail hour and auction
  • Plated dinner
  • Inspiring keynote with Dr. George Grant
  • Celebration program & paddle raise

Whether you’ve been part of Mars Hill’s journey from the beginning or just recently joined our community, this night is for you.

Meet Our Keynote Speaker

Mars Hill Academy is honored to welcome Dr. George Grant as the keynote speaker for our 30th Anniversary Legacy Gala.

Dr. Grant serves as Pastor of Parish Presbyterian Church, Director of the King’s Meadow Study Center, and Founder of both Franklin Classical School and Bannockburn College. He also coordinates the Chalmers Fund, a strategic initiative to support classical Christian education worldwide.

A prolific author, Dr. Grant has written dozens of books on history, biography, politics, literature, and social thought, along with hundreds of essays and columns. He is a frequent contributor to World Radio and has been featured in outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Focus on the Family, and World Magazine for his impactful work on issues ranging from the sanctity of life to homelessness, racial reconciliation, and international relief.

We are grateful to have Dr. Grant with us to mark this milestone year with wisdom, insight, and vision for the road ahead.
